1. 26 year old male with table saw
injury to nail bed, germinal matrix and nail fold. The distal
phalanx was completely destroyed. |
2. Bone graft was taken from the
distal end of the radius to reconstruct the distal phalanx. |
3. Nail bed was repaired and INRO™
surgical nail splint was used to splint the bed. |
4. One year later the nail
continues to grow without deformity and is trimmed regularly. |
